Accessibility

We believe that online accessibility is critical to improving the reach of your web site and specialise in creating fully accessible web sites that conform to level Triple-A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The Disability Discrimination Act 1999 states that websites should not discriminate against disabled people and measures should be in place to ensure content can be understood by all. Accessible websites are not just about meeting standards. They make it much easier for robots and spiders to find and understand site content, ensuring better search engine positions. This will attract more visitors to your site and increase the business it receives. This site includes several options which help provide greater accessibility.

Keyboard Shortcuts (Access Keys)
Access Keys enable those users who are unable to use a mouse to navigate through a web site. The following access keys are defined for this site, based on the Government access keys standard. Additional short cut keys can be used to navigate to the main sections of the site.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer users you will need to hold the "alt" key, press the access key required and then press the "enter" key. Please note that Netscape on the Apple Macintosh does not understand the keyboard short cut commands for linking. To use access keys in Firefox and Opera hold down the "alt" key and press the shortcut key.
